GK Delivers 2nd Chief's Vehicle To Croton Falls, NY FD

Newly completed 2003 Dodge Durango which belongs to the Croton Falls Fire District. This unit is the 2nd one of it's kind that GK has done for Croton. We installed Code-3 and Whelen emergency lighting, simulated gold leaf striping with Croton Falls seal. We also installed white Scotchlite striping. A Havis & Shields "Consolidator" console was installed with siren amp. siren speaker, switch box and radios. A custom fabricated "Command Center/Storage rack" was installed in the rear of the unit.

GK Delivers New/Refurbished Utility Vehicle To Croton Falls, NY FD

The original Croton Falls Fire District body was remounted onto a new 2003, 4400 series International chassis. The body is a 1985 Saulsbury stainless steel, open rescue body which was originally mounted on a 1985 Ford C-series chassis. The new International chassis was painted to match the existing body paint. Cab steps were custom fabricated from bright aluminum treadplate. A set of On-Spot automatic tire chains were installed on the chassis. A bench seat located in the rear section of the body was removed and replaced with a custom fabricated storage compartment with access doors on the top and the rear. The original warning lights were removed and new emergency lighting was installed.
